Introducing Grower Workshops at Heath Farm, Bristol

Introducing Grower Workshops from LettUs Grow

We’re proud to introduce LettUs Grow, Grower Workshops on Advanced Aeroponics™. They’ll be located at our state-of-the-art research centers in Bristol, UK, and these one and two-day courses are designed to empower growers of all experience levels, from novices to industry veterans, with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in controlled environment agriculture (CEA).

What are the Advanced Aeroponics™ Grower Workshops?

Our workshops are a deep dive into the science and practice of soilless farming. We offer a plant-focused approach, rooted in scientific principles, to help indoor farmers boost productivity and unlock profitability. Through a combination of theory and hands-on experience, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of our Advanced Aeroponics™ technology and how it uniquely distinguishes itself from traditional hydroponics.

The two-day course, in particular, is structured to provide three key outcomes:

Understanding Advanced Aeroponics™: You will thoroughly explore the technology, its advantages, and how it differs from other methods.

Developing Practical Skills: The workshop includes hands-on opportunities to become familiar with the technology and develop practical skills in areas such as system design, plant biology, and nutrient management.

Optimizing Production: A core focus is on optimizing the production of leafy greens and herbs in an aeroponic system. You will also learn how to design, operate, and optimize CEA systems and facilities.

We’ll cover a broad range of subjects crucial for modern indoor farming. For the one-day workshop, participants will get an introduction to soilless CEA, tour our research center and glasshouse, and learn about our Aeroponic Rolling Benches™ and their production of herbs and leafy greens. The two-day workshop expands on this, with the second day focusing on glasshouse design, automation, water quality, plant nutrition, environmental management, and integrated pest management.

Why are we running these workshops?

At LettUs Grow, we believe that careful innovation in farming can make the world a better place. Our mission is to reduce the waste and carbon footprint of fresh produce by enabling anyone to grow food closer to the point of consumption. Our Advanced Aeroponics™ technology, which uses up to 95% less water than traditional farming, is a key part of this vision.

These workshops are an invaluable opportunity for anyone contemplating an investment in an aeroponic glasshouse or vertical farm. By sharing our expertise directly from our experienced growers and agronomists, we aim to provide you with the essential information and hands-on experience needed to make a positive change within our global food production systems.
